End of the week...

I guess this means that it is time to go home. This week has been a life changing experience for me and some part of me will never go back to Cincinnati. I know that there has been some sort of symbolic death inside of me, but this has also left room for growth and birth inside of me. I really believe that Jean was right when she said that my fear about coming here had something to do with a symbolic spiritual death and change. For the most part, I believe this a VERY beneficial change. A change that is putting me on a new path for the rest of my life. The real question would be: "What has changed?", but I won't be able to answer that one yet. Let's just wait and see.

So, what are the "big" events for the week. Well, some amazing people that I have formed a bond with that I feel will last for a long time (Tim, Cat, Dirk, Brad, Laura). These are people that have been through a lot, but at the same time haven't shut the world out. They have allowed these experiences to shape them and put things into perspective. A perspective that I hope I am well on my way to gaining. I am not sure if it is possible to put this into words yet, but I can feel it deep down inside of my soul. I have grown this week and it will take me a while to realize how much of a HUGE impact this will have on my life, my teaching style, and my relationships in the future.

As I clarify things, I will post more. But for now it has been an awesome experience... I am ready to go back home and integrate these changes back into my everyday life.

How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed.' Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.' by craps
