Long time, no entry!

Fergus helps me work

Life has been going extremely well over the past month or so. I've been super busy with school, work, and my personal life. My relationship with Jason is going better that I could have ever imagined.

School is going well. I'm getting a bit better at actually completing my work on time! It would be unfair for me to expect that I could just snap my fingers and not procrastinate any more. It is a slow uphill war. I may lose a few battles, but the war is starting to go in my favor. I've decided that the final outcome for this semester (grades) are less important then me actually turning in my best work on time. I have to face the fact that it might not be possible for me to correct my mistakes that I made in the first half of the semester, but I sure can do better for the second half. It is more about the process then the outcome. I'm not saying that I don't care about my grades -- I really do -- but it is more important that I don't give up.

The Youth Summit is starting to ramp up and get ready for the summit this year. We are looking for volunteers. Let me know if you are interested!

Today is my Dad's 52nd birthday. I posted some pictures from Dad's party. Kyle is just way too cute, especially when he ends up with more cake on his face then in his mouth.

On Saturday, Jason and I went with David and Ed to the Great American Ball Park. The Red's played the Cleveland Indians in a pre-expo game. It was freaking cold, but it was super awesome. The new stadium looks spectacular. They spared no expense. Even the scoreboard was just amazing. The food is SUPER EXPENSIVE. It was $4.00 for a slice of cheese pizza and almost $5.00 for a Mt. Dew. Beer was $5.50 and apparently didn't taste that good (at least Jason wasn't impressed. I didn't drink any).

I also posted some pictures from Tim's Birthday Party, Youth Summit Meeting, and the Red's Game.

Good, good! I'm glad you're talking more about happy stuff more often (we all need to do it more often). Keep smilin'!
