Overheard at the Kenton County Clerk's Office.

Since my tags expire this month, I headed over the the Kenton County Clerk's Office to renew my registration, get new tags, and the sexy new KY license place. I begged to keep my old plates, but I was told that was not an option. Since I wasn't willing to pay $40 or more for some other plate style, I was stuck with the telley-tubby/Walmart plate.

While I was finishing up, another man walked into the office to renew his registration. When he say the new plates he stated that "these new plates were for gay people". I wanted to walk up to him and slap him for being such an asshole...

I don't blame you, man... so lame.

As for the stupid smiley face, I'll tell you what I've seen people do:

- Stick a blue bike reflector over the smiley face
- Stick a piece of duct tape over the smiley face
- You know those stickers with the smiley face and a gunshot wound? Yeah, one of those too.

Basically, Kentucky needs to get the idea people don't like these damn ugly license plates. (They ought to already know. The purchase of nonstandard plates is up something like 300%.)

Why do you think they made such an ugly plate? I mean, if you want anything else, you have to pay extra. Seems like a clever but mean business plan to me.

As far as sticking stuff on your plate, it's illegal and you can be arrested for it as a felony.

I'm making bumper stickers that say "my license plate sucks." It gets the point across without breakin' da law.

I am a native american and have used a sharpy marker to fix my plate with a more appropriate look as my plate number is NDNKAR, of which the letters are a song written and performed by Keith Secola, who gave me permission 8yrs ago for this plate, as it is a copywritten song title. They even did further damage to my personalized plate by doing a pee poor job by the state and not putting my plate to the right county, so they had to add insult to injury and put a fake green sticker with Spencer over the Shelby county sticker as when i bought the car TWO years ago the state neglected to change the paperwork properly..... Our tax dollars at work again!!!!
LOL..... if you are ignorant, you can get a job working for the state and simply just sit around.
