Yoga or not to yoga?

I've been going to Yoga on and off for almost a year now at It's Yoga in Clifton. The problems is that I haven't been to a yoga class since classes started at NKU this semester. For the calendar challenged, that is over 3 weeks. This means that the next class that I go to is just going to totally kick my ass. Not that a good ass kicking wouldn't be a good thing for me right now, but this is keeping me from going to yoga again. I keep making promises that I am going to go to yoga "tomorrow", but then always find a reason to put it off to the next "tomorrow".

Going to yoga is a mixed blessing for me. There are many benefits and I feel awesome afterward. It is just a major battle to actually get to the yoga school. Quite a bit of effort is involved in going to yoga; especially in the first 15 minutes. The warm-up is like going from 0 to 60 with a cold engine. You sweat like a pig and wonder if you will ever make it thought the first 15 minutes, let alone the rest of the 90 minutes. When I walk out after a yoga practice, I have a feeling of peace and accomplishment. It is almost like I am afraid to let myself feel good. Plus, I am wasting a membership that I already paid for. I've already paid money for this, so I had better use it damn it! I mean, I want to go to yoga more since it make me feel so much better, but it is almost like I am afraid of letting myself feel better.

So, let me state this publicly: I am going to go to yoga and the gym at least twice a week. I have already started going to the gym to do weights on Tuesdays, so I just need to build on that.
