This is a short list, but some cool ideas. I want to look into the concept of using m4 to manage content.

MTV: True Life: I'm Coming Out

MTV will air a new documentary entitled True Life: I'm Coming Out. It sounds pretty cool, but I could not find any information at the MTV website.

PFLAG e-mailed me this article with more information. The Point: Television: Hey, Mom, guess what?
Looks interesting. Anyone what to record it for me?

There are already about 8 groups in Cincinnati... Everything from plastics to Slashdot...

YS Site Kind of Up

Well, I spent a few hours last night setting up the Cincinnati Youth Summit Coordinating Committee website area. It now has a basic contact list, discussion boards, and place holders for minutes and committee lists. I hope that this becomes useful.

Maybe now I will have a few free moments to get the design right.

My next big project is the CommonGround website and all of the Safe Zone materials. How fun...

I am off to convience Student Life @ NKU that we should have an iMovieFest. Wish me luck.

Not The Only One...

Well, we had fun going out last night. Jordan's new roommate seems pretty cool and Beckey thinks that he is really hot. They both thought that he has a cute butt. Umm, I will just say no.

After listening to other people's situation with relationships, I have realized that my situation isn't all that abnormal (sadly!). Really, I don't think that women or men suck. There are just some people that really suck. It isn't that we are all making mistakes. It is just hard to find someone that is at the same stage in life as you are. If it was so easy I guess that relationships would not be so special.

If one, two, three, four, etc. don't work out; don't give up. When the time is right and the person is right, it will happen. You cannot force it to happen.

I say this as much for myself as for everyone else... :)

Signs that you might be gay...

I have been reading The Little Book of Neuroses by Michael Thomas Ford. In one of the articles, he makes a top 10 list of signs that you might be gay. Number 10 is:

When viewing straight porn videos you watch the women give head and think, They're not doing that right.

Too funny.. :)

Some people suck...

I just have to say that some people in my life continue to be a major let down. I don't understand how some people can act they way that they do. Do they not understand that their actions (or lack of action) effect other people?

Some people just have a gift for slapping you when you are down... Then they keep doing it. If you want to be a part of my life, you have to be a real friend and not just use me...

Moving on....

Undependable People

Are most people undependable or have I just been having personal issues lately. It just seems like I have been let down on all sides. From friends to family, people just seem to fluff me off and expect me to take up the slack. Don't they realize that I have feelings too. There has to be some point when I have had enough and will not be willing to expend all of the energy to keep a relationship up. Can't they just tell me to my face that they don't want to be friends, date, or talk with me?

I am trying to find the strength to get through all of these changes and to deal with these relationships that do not benefit me. It is just hard to lose so many people at the same time. Some people that I valued very much have just turned out to be users and are just happy to suck the life out of me. Even my own mother seems to be on that list.

It will get better because it MUST get better.

Here's hoping for a better hour, day, week, month ahead! -- Just remember that there are those people out there who do care about me and do invest just as much (if not more) energy into our relationship... Bask in that honor!

Easy Bill Pay...

Don't you love it when you do stupid things? My bank Everbank offers me electronic bill pay. I have been using a service like this since 1997.

So, I scheduled a nice big fat payment to my friends at Amex because I charged all of my car repairs from the accident there. It just happens that I have two cards and I reversed the payment. So, I ended up paying off the wrong card and not paying off the card that needs to be paid off at the end of the month.

The butt kicker is that I did not have enough money to cover the bill payments in my account so they bounced. Then Amex tried to remit the check again. So, in all, this is going to cost me like $50.00 and I still have to figure out have to come up with the $2000.00 to pay off my other Amex card.

I guess this just goes to show you that I need to pay closer attention...

Oh well, you live you learn.

Windows Users Make the Switch!

Yeah, Apple now has a new ad campeign entitled switch. It details the move of real windows users and why they decided to make the switch from Windows to the Mac OS.

Finally, Apple has an ad campeign that will appeal to the average computer that wants something that "just works". The Windows LAN admin is funny. During the day he works on PCs, but when he comes home, he wants a computer that just works. So, he bought a Mac!

Grading the flags of the world?

Here is a site where a guy applies letter grades to the flags of the world. This is totally funny and you should read the comments. At least I got a kick out of it.

He is kind of cute in his younger years... now he looks a bit scary...

Nick and the stupid right

Don't these people have a life? I mean, can't they understand the difference between tollerance and the "homosexual agenda"!

An article at GFN has all of the details. It is not like Nick News will be asking kids to start dating people of their same sex.

Next week I start work on my second toaster oven for bring young children into the gay lifestyle! :) -- Just kidding.

Interesting Stuff...

I actually went to the gym today with Jordan! We played racketball for about 30 minutes and then ran on the tredmill for another 15 minutes. I know that it wasn't too long, but it is a start. Six pack here we come!

Tonight I get to upgrade software on the MWG server and prepare for two presentations. I guess I will not be going to bed early tonight! :)

I also spent some time in my NEW office this afternoon. I really need to bring in some headphones or I will never get any work done. The Steely Lib. is creepy place when everyone else is being quiet. Now let's see if I get to have some keys.

I promise to post pictures of the pride festival this week! I will also post some pictures from Lin's PFLAG award tomorrow night. I just have to decide on some photo database software and then upload all of my photos.
